I agree about listening to Grateful Dead. Hell, I'd rather listen to Justin Bieber than Phish or The Avett Brothers.
Seriously, there are many but I'll go with Moby Grape, Vanilla Fudge or The Manfreds(Manfred Mann pre-Earth Band)
